Seattle Toy Stores

Seattle Toy Stores Biography
45th St still seems like the "new" location to me, but they've clearly inhabited this place thoroughly for quite some time. You can easily make your way among all the shelves and displays, but, that aside, it's absolutely choc-a-bloc with inventory. Rubber chickens, snowdomes, world's largest coffee cup, super balls, wigs, masks...you get the idea.
It's awesome. The prices are fair, and you can get all kinds of gag gifts, stocking stuffers, fun little toys for little kids, and silly stuff for whatever fun occasion you might have looming on your calendar. Some of the stuff is full-on prank equipment, like squirt cameras and whatnot. Didn't see any rubber vomit or whoopee cushions, but I was only in here for ten minutes.
If you remember the date scene from Good Will Hunting where Damon takes Driver to the toy shop and they try on funny glasses and whatnot, well, Archie McPhee is essentially the Seattle equivalent of that little shop. Except they're a little more organized and a little more directed at people who love goofy souvenirs, and not just a collection of 99 cent toys. Gotta love Archie McPhee.
